About the Session

About the Session

Exploring the medium of recycled cardboard, this workshop will guide participants through a variety of sculptural techniques with an emphasis on accessibility and play.

Focused around a mask making project, the workshop will address how to think three dimensionally and how best to realise 3D forms in different ways, embracing the flexibility of cardboard as a medium. Participants will also consider how we employ abstraction in the representation of features, and how the material and its limitations can guide us in that process.
