About the Session

About the Session

How can ideas such as imperfection and limitation be utilised for growth and confidence?

Work with Karlee Rawkins to explore practical ways to initiate, develop and resolve a creative project by focusing on intuition and play, find meaningful motifs and prioritise authenticity.

Work with paper, cardboard, drawn elements and paint in a series of exercises to explore colour, texture and positive/negative space. Learn fun and dynamic techniques for layering and manipulating acrylic paints whilst evolving a chosen subject. The workshop is intended to surprise and challenge, to be non-precious and expand your sense of the possibilities within painting and your own creativity.

*This is a process based workshop designed to encourage you to see and think differently about the potential of painting.
