Words have power, especially when it comes to expressing your identity. In this workshop participants will bring their pronouns to life with lettering, colour, scale and pattern. Under the guidance of acclaimed graphic artist and designer Gemma O’Brien, participants will learn the difference between calligraphy, lettering and fonts, be inspired by posters, signage, and graphic art, and draw & paint their own pronouns in a way in a style that is meaningful and expressive of their own personality.
Before the workshop, think about what your pronouns might be and bring a printout of these pronouns in three different fonts that appeal to you.
