Murray’s work addresses social and political issues through drawings, poster making and public art works. Murray used to spend her days printing & pasting posters on the street as her pseudonym Mini Graff but now you will find her drawing those same laneways.

Murray’s Daily drawing began in April 2010 whilst on residency at Hill End, NSW, Australia. Over twelve years Murray has completed more than 500 drawings.
Each drawing follows a strict set of parameters – always 12 x 16cm, completed on the day its begun, titled with the time and date, and drawn with ink pen – never pencil. Murray has published six collaborative artist books of drawings including Portraits of Nouns – Drawing in a Pandemic, her first US publication released in early 2022. Murray’s drawings are in collections including the Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, and the University of Sydney.

Murray is currently a lecturer at SCA and National Art School and works from studios in Sydney and Los Angeles.
