Conference

The Zart Conference is hosted by proud Yankunyjatjara and Wirangu educator Shelley Ware.

With over 25 years experience as a primary school teacher, reading specialist and art teacher, Shelley works closely with Zart to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures and Histories, into our professional learning workshops and events.

Conference

The Zart Conference days begins with an Acknowledgment of Country. After this, Shelley will introduce the Keynote Speaker. After the presentation and Q&A, participants will take a short break, then join a live practical Workshop Session for the afternoon.

There are five practical workshop sessions to choose from each day, to be selected when booking. Each session comes with a Materials Kit which allows you to participate in real-time with your artist. Also included are downloadable resources written by Mariah Calman – so you can take the Conference back to the Classroom.

Once the workshop session concludes, sit back and listen to the End of Day Speaker to round off your day.
